The Journey
Over 6 amazing weeks, our group of women came together to create something truly special. Each week, they reflected on their personal stories and expressed them through fabric, colour, and texture — every panel unique and meaningful 💜
Week 7 Celebration
In week 7 we had our celebration to reveal our final piece. We also surprised the group with a drumming session led by Cheikh from Rhythm Generation 🥁 — lots of laughter, energy, and some fantastic sounds filled the room!
The Final Revelation
In our final week, the women named the quilt 'Her'Story Entwined', celebrating how their individual stories were stitched together in unity and strength. The finished quilt surpassed all expectations and stands as a beautiful symbol of connection and shared achievement.

We're a Foodbank Referral Partner!
We are now a Foodbank Referral Partner. This means we can make direct referrals for women in need of food packages, ensuring quicker access to vital support.
Referrals can be made through our monthly Hub, held on the first Thursday of every month at West Croydon Baptist Church.
Together, we're building stronger, more connected communities where women feel seen, supported, and empowered.
We are beyond excited to announce that Liberty Springboard has received its very first financial support- a grant from the National Lottery Community Fund! This crucial funding will enable us to provide practical support to women in our local community, empowering them to thrive and succeed. A HUGE thank you to the National Lottery Community Fund for making this possible!
is set to file its first accounts by January 10, 2026, marking an important milestone in its growth. With its commitment to social work and community development, Liberty Springboard is poised to make a significant impact on women's lives in the coming years.
Liberty Springboard's CEO stated, "Our goal is to provide a springboard for women to become the best versions of themselves, regardless of their past experiences or current challenges."
Liberty Springboard's CEO's statement aligns closely with the organisation's mission and approach. The Community Interest Company (CIC) focuses on empowering women to overcome barriers, reach their maximum potential forge meaningful connections and build trust with peers and mentors. Liberty Springboard emphasises that positive relationships are the foundation for change.
Liberty Springboard's focus on women with a history of involvement in the criminal justice system aligns with broader efforts to address the unique challenges faced by this population. The organisation's approach is particularly relevant given recent developments in women's justice reform: The Women's Justice Board, launched on January 21, 2025, aims to reduce the number of women in prison and cut reoffending rates. This initiative recognises the specific needs of women in the criminal justice system, mirroring Liberty Springboard's mission.
